



| Responsibilities of the Buyer: 1. The Buyer accepts the responsibility for the care and the welfare of this kitten/cat for the lifetime of the animal: a. This kitten / cat will not be allowed outdoors unsupervised to insure its health and safety. b. This animal will receive regular vet visits, prompt veterinary care when needed, and will follow the vaccination schedule prescribed by the veterinarian. c. This animal will be fed appropriate kitten/cat food and housed in a humane and comfortable manner. 2. Buyer understands that this kitten / cat will be exposed to significant health risks if exposed to cats that are high-risk. High-risk cats are those that may be unvaccinated, are carriers of cat viruses, are allowed access to the outdoors, or have high-risk socialization patterns based on these behaviors. 3. Buyer understands that declawing is a mutilation and cruelty that may alter the kitten's/cat's temperament and health. 4. Pets or Show Cats will be altered by 6 months of age. Registration papers will be held until a copy of a receipt from a licensed Veterinarian indicating that the animal has been altered has been received, and the procedure has been confirmed by Five Diamond Siberians. 5. Five Diamond Siberians must be contacted if at any time during the kitten / cat's life the buyer is unable to keep the kitten. This kitten/cat will never be placed in an animal shelter. The buyer agrees never to sell this kitten/cat or its offspring to, or through, any pet store, animal shelter, or for research. 6. Buyer is STRONGLY encouraged to schedule a veterinary visit within 72 hours with his or her own vet. 7. Buyer agrees that if any of the terms of this agreement are violated, breeder may reclaim this kitten without refund of purchase price. The buyer agrees to pay all court costs if this contract is litigated, and that any suit shall be filed and tried in Pennsylvania under the laws of Pennsylvania. Responsibilities of the Breeder: 1. Five Diamond Siberians is providing you with a healthy, well-socialized kitten. Specifically, you can expect: a. It is free of Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). b. It is free of Parasites. c. It has been vaccinated as appropriate for its age for Panleukopenia (Feline Distemper), Calicivirus, Rhinotracheitis, and Chlamydia. d. It has been vet-checked and been determined to be in good health. 2. It comes with a health guarantee. a. If the kitten is returned to the breeder within 72 hours due to health reasons documented by buyer’s vet, breeder will reimburse the buyer for the full purchase price of the kitten, including the $100 non-refundable deposit that held the kitten upon selection. b. If your kitten/cat suffers a premature death within the first two years of its life due to a genetic defect, as documented by an autopsy, a kitten of similar or better quality (pet / show, etc) will be offered as replacement. 3. It comes with a satisfaction guarantee. a. If for ANY REASON you are not satisfied with your kitten, you may return it within 7 days of the date of sale for a full refund, less the $100 non-refundable deposit that held your kitten when you selected it. b. This refund does not include the shipping expense for return to the Pittsburgh Airport, nor does it include any veterinary expenses required for shipment. c. If the kitten/cat is to be returned more than 72 hours after receipt, it will require a statement of good health from the Buyer’s vet or the Breeder’s vet. This health check is required within 48 hours of return. If the health check is performed by the Breeder’s vet, the charge will be deducted from the refund price. |
