Five Diamond Siberians
Our "FOUNDATION" cats...
Why are they so important?
Five Diamonds breeds Siberian kittens that (1) are socialized specifically
for placement in active households; (2) maintain the personality
characteristics that make this breed unique, and (3) conform to the
physical standards of the breed, as proven by success in the show ring.
To accomplish this, finding the right "foundation cats" for our program is
critical. Each cat has to have the right temperament, be of exceptional
health, come from a reputable breeding program, and possess
outstanding physical attributes. We also consider the pedigree of each
cat, noting where titles have been earned in his or her ancestry, which
family lines (such as the Original Starpoint) are included, and the colors
of ancestors that might indicate possible offspring combinations.
